The North Woodward Community Foundation has awarded grants from its Community Events/Troy Family Daze Fund to three organizations who will benefit from the proceeds of the 2011 Troy Family Daze Festival. The Arc of Oakland County, which serves persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Troy People Concerned, which assists families who are in a crisis situation, and the Boys & Girls Club of Troy are the first recipients, in a series of grants, that will be awarded during 2012. “We are pleased to award these funds to three outstanding organizations who provide benefits to the entire community”, said Tom Kaszubski, Executive Director of the North Woodward Community Foundation. “We are able to distribute these grants because of the tremendous support for Troy Family Daze from both the business sponsors and area families who participated in 2011”.
The 2012 Troy Family Daze Festival, which will be held from September 13th to 16th on the grounds of Zion Christian Church at 3668 Livernois, returns all proceeds from this fun, family event to the community. Call 248-952-7565 for further information.
